Telling you about myself, my name is Dr. Qasim Ali and I have been working as Professor in a public sector university i.e. www.muet.edu.pk since last 12 years. My core responsibilities as Professor are to conduct classes at graduate and postgraduate levels. I have done my M.E in Information Technology from IICT Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro www.muet.edu.pk with CGPA 3.47/4.00 with specialization in Software Engineering. I am working as CCAI (Cisco Certified Academy Instructor) in Cisco Local Academy Mehran UET Jamshoro; I am also Microsoft Certified Professional and secured 96 % in the industrial Microsoft certification. I have got professional training of CCNA, CCNP, and Java. My university in collaboration with HEC (Higher Education Commission), Intel Corporation and itself conducts different Staff Development Training Courses & Workshop time to time. So based on my sound knowledge in the field of network and information security I have planned to pursue my PhD in the area of Information security at Beijing University of posts and telecommunication in September 2014.
So, at the start of my PhD I have been enrolled in multiple courses offered by BUPT. These courses were the important part of my PhD studies and has last for my first year of PhD. I have completed all my courses with flying colors and achieved remarkable results, apart from that I was also involved in practical research in laboratory of intelligent communication and Navigation under the supervision of Professor Deng Zhong Liang. During my first two years of my PhD I have published almost 30 research papers in world renowned journals having high impact factor. That would lead me to the outstanding international student from my university. Under the supervision of my professor, I have done extensive research in the field of Information security, Location based services, Vehicular communication and Road Networks.
Now I have completed my PhD in the field of Information Security from Beijing university of Posts and telecommunication and joined back Department of Software Engineering Mehran UET jamshoro as an assistant professor. I have applied for PhD approved supervisor already and will become HEC approved supervisor in a short time.

My cumulative JCR based impact factor is 30+ which is the highest one from all over Sindh in the field of computer science and IT. Based on my outstanding performance I have received outstanding researcher award by ministry of Education People republic of china and at the same time I have been awarded with best PhD graduate award 2018 from Beijing University of posts and telecommunication China. I am reviewer of world top class SCI journals and TPC member of many international conference like GCWOC, IMTIC, Vehicular telematics and computing VTC Chicago and many more.
